LaCAR is continuing to grow and we are looking for a Production Coordinator who will play a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products while maintaining compliance with applicable quality standards and procedures.
You will contribute to the smooth execution of production operations, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help ensure customer satisfaction through operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities to ensure products are manufactured and delivered on time while optimizing the use of resources and equipment
- Provide operational support to manufacturing activities, troubleshoot day-to-day production issues, and contribute directly to key production processes when needed
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety requirements by maintaining accurate documentation, supporting investigations, and promoting adherence to procedures and SOPs
- Manage raw material and consumable inventories, anticipate production needs, and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure material availability while maintaining efficient stock levels
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Logistics, Purchasing, and Assays teams to resolve operational challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized production environment in accordance with Health & Safety and quality standards
- Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of production processes through accurate documentation, deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions

LaCAR is a fast-growing biotech company developing, producing, and commercializing CE-IVD diagnostic kits for (pharmaco) genetics and newborn screening. Our headquarters are located in the Liège Science Park (Belgium), and we serve customers worldwide.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Master degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biomedical sciences, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in the biotech/pharma industry with direct responsibility for production planning and coordination in a regulated environment
- Familiarity with regulated quality systems such as ISO 13485, IVDR, or GMP, and experience handling Deviations, CAPA, and Change Control
- Knowledge of ELISA, enzymatic assays, and qPCR (mass spectrometry is a plus)
- Autonomous, organized, and adaptable. Able to prioritize and deliver against agreed objectives and timelines
- Strong communication and problem solving skills. Comfortable interacting with cross functional teams and escalating issues when needed
- Resilient under pressure. Able to meet deadlines in a fast paced production environment
- Proactive approach for problem-solving
- Advanced level of English (at least B2) for daily professional communication
