LAMP Human HLA-B27 direct detection KIT

The LAMP Human HLA-B27 Direct KIT is an in vitro diagnostic test intended for the qualitative detection of most HLA-B27 alleles, included European most AS associated subtypes B*2702 and B*2705, Asian subtype B*2704 and African subtype B*2703 by Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) on EDTA whole blood and extracted DNA.

This assay is dedicated to professional use in diagnostic laboratories. The device is not for self-testing.

The LAMP Human HLA-B27 detection kit is an in vitro diagnostic test intended for the qualitative detection of a tag SNP (rs4349859) for HLAB27 alleles by Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) on EDTA whole blood.
Software that helps to interpret the results of LaCAR GPD and pharmacogenetics assays and generates standardised reports.

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a common, highly heritable inflammatory arthritis affecting primarily the spine and pelvis (Hadler et al., 2013) and affects approximatively 0.5% of the population (Shaikh, 2007).
Accumulating evidence has demonstrated that human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecule B27 (HLA-B27) is strongly associated to AS (Lin & Gong, 2017) : > 90 % of AS patients are HLA-B27 positive (Bowness, 2015)(Oliveira, 2016).
Over 100 different allelic variants of B27 have been recognized (HLA-B2701 to HLA-B27106) in AS patients, among which B27*05 and B27*02 are widely prevalent in European populations, and B27*04 is predominate in Asian populations (Lin & Gong, 2017).
